so i just installed sea of thieves on the xbox app and everytime it loads when it says launching it comes up with that error code and i have tried everything to fix given online from reinstalling the game to checking for updates and trying other options but everytime i try something the same result pops up, so has anyone had this issue before and know how to resolve it?

Sea of Thieves (and most Xbox games on Windows) relies on some Windows System files to run. For this reason, it can often be a system file corruption that's causing stability issues.
Try running DISM and SFC scans to check and fix any issues there.
- Search for Command Prompt, right-click and run as Adminstrator
- Enter:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth - If it finds issues, run:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth - Then do:
SFC /scannow
Typically, I try to run these once a month or so, as various updates on Windows can cause corruptions randomly. Hopefully, this solves your problem, because it's a very quick fix. Otherwise, good luck in your search, these issues can be super frustrating.
