I don't know if anyone else has had this issue in the game in general, if it's a safer seas only glitch, or if it's something going wrong with game communication on my end, but I've had quite a few instances of the gleam of treasure disappearing once it spawns on the ocean surface. It's not all the time, it happened specifically four times - twice a few nights ago with meg loot only having the gleam effect for two seconds but as soon as I started moving my boat closer the gleam disappeared, no seagulls, couldn't find any loot at all and figured it was swept away because I took too long trying to re-find it. That happened twice. Then last night I'm trying to do the sunken kingdom voyage and the first key you get from SotH would do the same thing as the meg loot. I would do the entire shrine, get the key in the statue and spawn it up top with the rest of the loot, but the gleam for the key specifically disappeared and it had spawned on the other side of my boat than the rest of the loot did which also felt odd to me. I had to restart the voyage and do it all over, only for it to happen again.
Has anyone else experienced this or similar issues, or am I just having really bad luck with the server not remembering where some of my loot is?
