One the teaser, we saw that the burning blade has 5+5 cannons. With size in comparison, this looks like a 5 man ship. If the burning blade becomes a menace, we know that adding a man o war could be dangerous, but if the ship doesnt wreak too much havoc, that would prove that adding a 5 man ship wouldnt upset the community perhaps, enabling the developers to release a man o war without having any more drawbacks than the galleon, like slower turn speed. Idk if the burning blade will have drawbacks, but i assume not.
The buring blade could be a soft landing for a man o war
I think the burning blade is supposed to make the crew that claims it extremely powerful since it is a player run world event (something that should not be easy to take down) and i dont think that future ship architypes should be themed around it since even as is they have a skeleton crew to be able to run it but not 5 players.
Its not exactly a framework for a 5 player ship the way they said it works and what it is, and this is probably the best and only way i could see them doing a player run man o war ship without breaking balance completely.
@wujuwarrior1375 I’m excited to potentially get in an alliance with another crew and have 2-3 crews absolutely destroying a server while everyone is sailing on one single giant ship

I'm curious if it will work like this. Would the npc skeletons recognize your alliance and be friendly towards those not in your crew? There's lots of questions that I'm sure will be answered in due time.
