So, I did an Athena voyage in the Roar with a buddy the other night that was probably the worst RNG possible.
We got one piece of Athena loot for the entire voyage...
...and that was the Ashen Chest of Legends at the end!
I get that it's how RNG works, and I wouldn't expect it to match the Legend of the Veil considering the difference in risk/reward, but I feel like an Athena voyage should at the bare minimum give you one piece of Athena loot for each skelly bounty island and each dig island.
I feel like the Merchant cargo part is a complete waste of time and most players just pick up and drop the cargo. These should really just be replaced with something that gives Athena loot or else a major boost to Athena Emissary grade for delivering the cargo. As it is, it's just not worth making those deliveries.
Now, one thing that might have accounted for the exceptionally poor RNG this time was that this was a Captain's Voyage rather than one bought from Ramsey... Is it possible, due to the modular nature of Captain's Voyages, that the Athena voyages are not true Athena voyages but cobbled together faction voyages? I'd need to test this more to be sure but it would explain the bad yield.
