I heard about the new Adventures around the beginning of the month and saw that they were monthly. My gf and I love SoT and we were super excited to be a part of these new story adventures. We play other games and their season passes so we figured after we finished those up we could hop on and play the new adventure. When we did we found it had already ended. 🥺
I hadn't seen the caveat that the adventure only lasted 2 weeks and it started mid February..
Oh man the combined disappointment feels like it's enough to make us abandon Sot altogether..
Thing is.. Sot holds a special place in our heart because it's where we met each other. We can't just jump ship. My gf loves to exclaim to anyone who will listen that we met looking for booty and found each other.
We both really hope you all bring it back. At least for a little bit like No Man's Sky did for their expiditions. Or maybe even extend it..

Pretty sure it was 3 weeks. But you have my condolences, friend.
I enjoyed it. But I’m glad it didn’t last too long. We had 4 islands covered in fog for about a month (they fogged up the islands ahead of time). These changes to the world are cool. But the visual obstruction got a little old, not going to lie.
I love the changes to the world. But being temporary afford the developers more latitude to do crazy stuff like that.Stay tuned for the next one. It’s apparently a 2 week away. I’m so keen for the next cinematic trailer!!!

These adventures are pretty short...about 1-2 hours, I don’t think they get longer
If you missed one, open the adventures tab, you can read, what happenedThe adventures are supposed to be moments in time in the ever evolving story. These adventures can also change the world so that’s why Rare have opted for limited time.
Thankfully the most you’ll miss out on is a single cosmetic and a title. The context you can either find online or the story recap in the adventure section.
While I appreciate your FOMO - I find requests like these distasteful.
There is a feeling of reward for having a reward that you know will not return in the game.
They may reskin/recolor something - which I hope for you, but I think the cosmetics that are listed as time limited stay that way - and this is coming from someone who has missed many an event goal.

Yup. 14 days, or 336 hours. Never enough to "manage" ones time to do something in a video game. Because other video games are just as important, Rare should work around my play time. :p

Time travel hasn't been created in SoT yet sooo no dice.You'll never get 100% of everything on the game, no matter how much time stuff is put up for. I missed out on Legendary Sea Dog by like 50 wins, you just have to reconcile that fact and you'll be ok. Chapter 2 will be up in a few weeks and I'm sure you'll be one of the first to get the chapter completed.
