MUSIC AND IN GAME VOICE NOT SYNCHED. (ALSO FAT PIRATE BELTS ARE STUPID THICC)

  • Well, I know this isn't anything game breaking, but it's been important to me for so long. Whenever you play music on an instrument in game and try to sing along with it, there is a delay between the two. I can say "NOW!" and fire the cannon and the audio is perfectly synched, but when I play a shanty and try to sing with it, it feels like it's about a quarter second behind. crew trying to sing along is always delayed as well, so I've ruled out any personal issues. From day one I had an idea that I'd sell my services as a bard. Find another crew that wants music always played and then sail with them during quests or adventures and have them pay me in chests for my work when we hit outposts. Every update I check this out and it's still off. I'm sure there is a technical reason why this happens or isn't reasonable but it hurts lol. It doesn't affect gameplay at all, and the updates are always so awesome I've always felt it was stupid to beg for a change, but with even more shanties being added I'm feeling the creep of hurt escalate.

Additionally, I've had a chonk pirate since day one and I love him. Many of the cosmetics stretch very poorly for us fat bodies and that's not a big deal on the whole, but an area where I feel this could be adjusted is the belts. they scale with the characters waist and as a result end up thicker than the kraken's hide. I think, without any knowledge really, this could be a scaling x,y,z appropriate piece that would just state that as player width increases, belt thickness decreases. Again, this is just cause you guys made awesome belts and I wanna wear them, but they are fat terrible. I think the red admiral belt was the first belt I really noticed this. Buckle scaled like a wrestling folding chair and the belt itself was like a blanket folded and repurposed.

I only recently hit pirate legend after what, 2 years(?) so honesty I fall into a category of players who just wanna RP a bunch.
Either way, have a great day.
