Server shutdown warning time not long enough

  • I lost a lot of loot the other night because I was only given 10 minutes warning that my server was going to be shut down for maintenance.. It took almost the whole 10 minutes to make it to the outpost I needed because the wind was against me the entire trip. I think warning us at least a half hour or more ahead of shutting down would be more reasonable for a game like this.. I couldn't lower my emissary flag, I was running with around 30 sellable crates + loot, and lost everything but the few crates I managed to race in with before it shut down.. Can you please give us more notice?

  • They gave a whole 24 hour notice that servers were going down on Twitter, Discord and maybe Facebook.

I mean, true, but not everyone uses these or notice the messages in the sea of other stuff on these. An infrastructure already exists in the game to provide a warning in the game, so it really isn't unreasonable to ask for that notice to be extended. Things in this game can take time, by design, so it would be fair to catch less people actively playing off guard.
