lost gold and rep

  • Me and some friends did a few vaults and had excess loot from roaming for the last few hours, in addition we also had a level five gold hoarder's emissary flag. We started selling all of the stuff but none of us received any xp nor gold. I had seen it take a while to load before so i figured we should wait a bit but still nothing. So i completely exited the game and logged back into the session but still no gold. I decide to close the game out again and open a new voyage, after doing that i went to the nearest island and sold a chest and skull and both sold giving corresponding xp and gold. I realize there is server related issues but I would really like to know if there is a resolution to this or am i just SOL for all the hours down the drain.

    me and my friend had the same issue yesterdays. Hours of farming and no reward. Killed several pirate ships level 5 soul faction and so on. Hopefully there will be a fix and we get that stuff afterwards.

  • Same for us, it was our biggest loot ever. We sunk two skeleton ships and had a large number of chests from a vault and several treasure islands. This is extremely frustrating 😫

  • its at least somewhat consoling to know that others had similar issues recently as well, this way hopefully they are more inclined to fix it, or at least give the deserved rewards. And its especially saddening as this was the largest haul I've had yet. Hopefully everyone that has had this issue gets their owed gold and rep, ill update the post if anything changes regarding the missing things.

  • Same issue here, last night had about 4 hours of grinding and nothing counted when we turned it in on my xbox series x.

  • Yes this happened to my crew as well, we did 6 FOTD and a gilded Athena and a Thieves Haven Run throughout all of yesterday and revived no reputation or gold. We had a Grade 5 reapers emissary and sold all the FOTD loot and kept the Athenas to sell once we got a grade 5 Athena emissary. So in total we sold 6 FOTD loot with reapers grade 5 and the Athenas Chests from the FOTD, all the loot from a Thieves Run and a Gilded Athena and a grade 5 Athena quest whilst flying a grade 5 Athenas emissary flag. We were also in an alliance with people doing Thieves Runs but at unaware as to how many they did, we think around 5 or 6.

  • My crew and I faced the same issue last night.

    Two full pirate legend runs, a few megs, gems to the hunters call, and skellie ships - Grade Five Athena flag. No money/rep at all. One of my crew mates submitted a support ticket- so we’ll see.

  • We had reapers 5, three world events and 8 FOTDs worth of missing gold and rep. Biggest loss of a single day ever and not because we were sunk. Have been playing this game a long time, and worry that Rare will not be able to fix this. Have been watching in Twitter and here and nothing being said by Rare, no response other than the delayed loot message. This is my main activity over the Christmas break, I don't mind losing loot but why even bother with game mechanics this broken? Rare please save your game and give us a response, we are pumping time and money into your game, you should let us know what is going on. Great game, please talk to us.........its not the gold, its the silence.

  • Same issue last night for me and my crewmate around 3 hours of loot lost to the sea of bugs... Last time it just took a while to receive the reward but this time it is a complete loss, it seems. :'(

  • Same for me i sell 6 Athena chest with athena grade 5 emissary flag and i receive no rep and gold

  • This happened to me and 5 other friends of mine as well, we had 3 Fort Of The Damned runs done and cashed it all in and got nothing and its been over a day.

    I get this is an issue, I just want clarification from any admins that that they know this is a big issue. And that we will be given what is due hopefully. I don't know about everyone else, but an issue like this makes it hard for me and others to want to play the game. Only because spending all this time finishing voyages and getting nothing is extremely frustrating. Admins... please tell us you have a solution. This game is truly amazing, and I want to continue playing it and supporting the game. But a bug like this defeats the purpose of playing it.

  • Hi, i had the same problem on Saturday night and still no gold dans réputation on my account...

  • Same here. Played on the 2nd of January, turned in a gigantic loot haul with a lvl 5 reaper flag and the gold & glory event. Nothing. Everything else in that session that we turned in at regular outposts (and not at reapers') registered, but with a delay of some minutes. Really confused if it's every gonna count or not. Support tells me to wait but no idea for how long...

  • Have not received anything but the delayed loot message from my support ticket. The Response tells me please check out our Social Media Channels & Official Website frequently for the upcoming announcements. This loss of gold and rep was on 1 January. I do not think we are going to receive this lost gold and loot, my support ticket is marked as SOLVED. I guess that having something marked as Solved makes it look ok, but this is not solved. You all drew players to the game with the Gold and Glory weekend over the winter break, and through planning and time I had the biggest turn in I have ever been a part of. I would feel a little better about it if Rare would just let us know what is going on. They ask to please give it some time, I think they are ignoring the issue.

    When a ticket is marked as resolved, it has been passed onto the relevant teams for investigation. You haven't been ignored/forgotten about. It is just the practice used when there are thousands of tickets created.

    I would also keep your eyes peeled on social media (and here) for news on this though.

  • @musicmee I don't know if you would know, but when this bug is fixed. Do we all get our rewards back? Like is there a record of it in the game still and its just backed up? Or is it lost? And if its lost do we get reimbursed somehow?

    If you don't have any answers to these questions that is totally fine, thanks in advance!

    Indeed, gold and réputation just like the other players in this topic.

    I already did a ticket to support and it was solved saying that it may takes 3 days to receive everything.

    If you tell me that it was a bug and unfortunately we wont have our gold, it's okay, we can hear it, sh-it happens.

    But for the moment we dont have any communication so it's really frustrating...

    The team at Rare believe this is all just backlogged. I am not hearing any news of completely lost rewards. But the more data players can give the better... that way if there is an issue it can be tracked down and fixed or rectified.

    At present we are seeing some rewards and commendations stuck in the system for up to 24-48 hours before they start tracking. And this is affecting all aspects of the rewards system:

    • Gold
    • Reputation
    • Commendations
    • 12 Deeds of Giving
    • Grogmanay

    Okay sounds good, we did our big run on the 1st so it has been a while. Which is unfortunate but it is what it is. But, I super appreciate your communication with all of us.

  • Still nothing ... I played yesterday and the rewards where added but I had a big game last Saturday and nothing.... 😞 I begun the tree sheets neate fabulous treasure and did 5 îles over 8 with at least 22 captain chests and other chests and skull and 1 emissary flag too

    Thanks for the info. It’s hard to believe they know nothing of all the lost progress, it’s all over these forums and their support Twitter account. If they still know nothing about this it’s a horrible data loss on their end. Stuff is still missing from people that was done way more than 48 hours ago. Seems like it’s all just lost, this isn’t the first time this has happened.

    Thanks for trying to help though. As far as I know they acknowledged this on their Twitter support account but never gave any update. At this point I am considering it lost and moving on.

  • @aceflounder6662 yeah i agree I'm jotting this down as an unfortunate loss, and will remain weary of this repeating from here on. Hopefully they identified what caused this and can stop it from occurring again, but i feel that's quite unlikely.
