Disclaimer: Everything about to be said would be in a “private server” and would never be implemented into a real ongoing playing server.
Players could set a island (not outpost or seaposts or forts) as “home” islands. What this means is instead of there being Adventure and Arena, there will be Adventure, Arena, and Home Island (or something like it)
For example: Say I set my home as Thieves Haven (OR RARE could just make a custom island for this feature and have people purchase “expansions” to make it bigger and better.) And I go start a “Home Island” game mode. I spawn in on Thieves Haven with my ship. And so I can customize it. So maybe I want to add the clothing shop so I can access the shop without entering the real game. I either can do something in adventure mode to “earn it” (by doing some in game commendation) or buy it using gold or doubloons and place it on my island wherever I want it. ALSO PLEASE NOTE You cannot life your capstan and sail OR swim away from your home island. You have to stay. But you can have a Seapost built nearby for you to go to yourself.
Even other decorations like Trees, Exploding Barrels, supply barrels, signs, cannons, etc. the island would become fully customizable.
AND you can “earn” TALE TALL stuff to put on your island. For example doing all the Fate of the Morningstar (or rise of the Morningstar whichever one has you kill the captain) allows you to place the table with the two objects next to it on your island. This could maybe let you spawn him in so you can kill him for fun again.
MY FAVORITE Idea is that you can take all of your pets you buy and place them on the ledges that your normally aloud to “place” your pet. They save and stay their every time you enter your home island. ALSO you can place NPCs that interact with you or do something. Maybe some play instruments. Or some fight with swords so you can have mini sword arena battles. You can put YOUR OWNED cosmetics on the NPCs too to make them feel like yours wether it be from dresses or to curses.
Maybe after reaching “max level” (50 not 75) in the factions I can place them on my island. Including a tavern that lets me enter the pirate legend place (if I was pirate legend [which I am]).
You can invite up to 3 other people to your island. (Total of 4) your ship customizations can be added and you can decorate your ship their at your island (does not save into Adventure)
But does save every time you enter Home Island.
PLEASE NOTE You can not earn any currencies or reputation from this. This is purely cosmetic!
Is this needed? NO. Is this too much? PROBABLY. Should it be added though to make the game feel so much better, rewarding, and addictive? OF COURSE YES!
