If i start the first adventure and have to quit when i'm at the half of it, will it save my progress? Or i've to start over again?
The Adventures will save eventually?
@altamita This game has no save points. The only time saving is done will pertain to you turning in loot and gaining gold, doubloons and reputation towards your character. So yes...… you have to start over again every time.
If you mean the Tall Tales, then no. If you can't complete it, then you'll have to start over when you come back.
I've always found the best approach to Tall Tales is to view the first couple runs as practice. I don't expect to complete them on the first couple tries, but use them to familiarize myself with the Tale and it's mechanics.
Completing some of the Tales in one go may seem daunting at first, but they can all be streamlined to manageable lengths with enough experience and practice.
This has unfortunately become a deal breaker for us. Bought 2 accounts playing family share with my 2 kids (bug with sharing only 1 account, would crash second login so bought another).
So if your ship sinks you lose any items you might have spent hours getting...
So far resets during tall tales:
2 kraken, 1 skelly ships with meg, several EPIC PVP'ers (lol, sinking your ship while you are off PVE...)
Today PVP'ers sunk us after collecting all the items to do the new skull fort coloured skellies and most of the way through. It's a pretty difficult PVE experience as it is without rando's ganking you...So again after several hours of playing you basically get reset. It seems the only way to play this game is to do short repetitive tasks... There is so much to like about this game, (crew communication is great, puzzles are mostly really well done) but the lack of progress saving is causing no-one to want to play it any more for us.
@filthbeest Please don't leave this great game. I can promise you, not every single game is going to end out that way, I've played it since launch day, and I've come across these situations. Pick yourself up and try again, strive to beat them the next time. Get better at PvP, practice, practice, practice! Nothing comes easy! Trust me, those situations aren't the most common thing.

That fort with the colour skellies (fotd) would have brought every pirate on the server to you anyway can't have PVE without PVP my friend... I sloop with my six year old sometimes.. she can identify what's going to get her into PVP.. and as far as saving progress goes.. it does save when you complete voyages or tall tales it says completed and thus is saved

It is the only game ever created where someone ganking you/kraken killing you resets the (3 hour) quest line you are on and you lose items...
Did you lose your 300 bear skins and ritual skull when the lvl 60 ganked you in WOW in Crossroads on a PVP server??
LOL, it is possible to have PVE co-exist with PVP without making it untenable as has been shown by most games since EverQuest...
