Spyglass Glint is Back

  • Not sure if this was intended or not, but the glint is back for the spyglass. So be cautious if you are trying to sneak! Personally, I do not like this at all. I don't mind it for the EOR, but not spyglass. Thoughts?

  • I think that there should be a glint for both - there should be a tell-tale sign that you're being spied upon, and that's pretty much it. If you risk taking a closer look, be prepared becauseif they see that glint, they might start thinking you have loot on board. Risk management!

Also, I wasn't aware that it ever went away.

  • @galactic-geek I definitely see your point of view on the matter. Play style will have to be updated if this stays. To answer your question, about it being gone. It use to be in the game when it released, then they removed it. WIth this latest patch, it made its way back.

  • It shouldn't have come back... The EoR is fine every game has glint for snipers.. Please take it back off the spyglass...

  • @galactic-geek Fully agree.

I noticed it went away, and made spying easy as you could go unnoticed. However, it doesn't make sense for it to glint on one and not the other.

100% agree! I want to know if I am being watched! And that is the risk we run when we spy!

  • I wish the spyglass animation would come back that made it stick out of your belly, ROFL!

  • I did not know it had gone.

    It should not have.

That being said: Both the EoR and Spyglass should glint realistically: that is only from time to time and only when the there is a light source to reflect. So, they should not glint at night, unless perhaps you are standing close to a campfire or lantern.

  • I dont mind the glint on both if it was only during the day when there actually would be a glint.

At night scopes shouldnt glint at all

  • My guess it's a bug since they didn't talk about it in the patchnotes.
