SoT on switch

    I like this idea and know that's it's coming but has anyone thought about lag and the low "power" of the Nintendo switch console all i can see is people running around teleporting and just random deaths because they just lagged on to your ship.

    As much as I love Switch, I really struggle to believe that SoT would run on it. MAYBE it could run on Switch 2, but we don't even know the specs of the new console.

    @sharkfire75 while there are videos stating sot is coming to the switch i would check the posting dates pf said videos.

    But otherwise i don’t see it happening, not with the specs of the switch

    Could the Switch run it natively? Absolutely not. No way.

    Could the Switch run it as a cloud service through Xbox Cloud Gaming somehow? Absolutely. Would it be a mediocre experience like most of the Cloud gaming? Absolutely.

    @tesiccl Yeah, for Switch 2, maybe, but having a hard time believing they're porting to the Switch.

    The overhead costs of reducing the poly count of every model in the game is pretty massive...
