Lags since last Patch

    Since the last Patch the game is laggy and hitreg is more worse if you ask me.
    I changed my loadout using EoR more.
    I shot a keg 5 times with hit marker and nothing, i run to the wood barrel and end up at the cooking station.
    I freeze, microstutter etc... constantly.

    played every day for 2-4 hours since last patch and it was never that worse since Release for me.

    no d'loads in the background, no internet issues, nothing.
    My mates experience it the same, no matter if on xbox or PC.
    I recently thought EU Server problem so that i maybe got onto US Servers?

    I gave up trying to play yesterday, lost all my resources because kept getting disconnected with Hazelnutbeard errors and rejoining with empty pockets, ship kept hitting rocks while I was frozen or rejoining.

    Played insider for 3 hours instead, no problems there.

    @wagstr i'd say my freezes i posted in that other topic were also caused by massive lag.

    Must be something in the build relating to server regions, it's been really bad since last release.

    FPS drops.
    Game freezes.
    Sword broken again.
    Guns sometimes don't fire.
    PVP is so unreliable to the point I prefer to do PVE only.
    Hitreg just gets worse.

    On several occasions yesterday in the arena, I was knocked off the cannons but kept the cannon loading radial on my screen and was only able to run sideways and not interact with anything.. Very helpful in mid battle thanks!

    You know hitreg is bad when even Bill is complaining about it.

    Yes, hitreg has been worse since last patch. I'm not even sure they did anything this patch other than break silent repair (which nobody asked for). Grog audio bug has still happened, chainshots still hit masts and they don't drop, and you can still hear other crews as you load into the server.

    Remember when they claimed they fixed the underwater audio bug and the green skeleton bug 4 months ago?

    Huh, I haven't experiences any major changes or drops in performance. Guess I'm just lucky.

    Yes. All of this.

    Also, my game crashed twice yesterday (in the middle of battles...yippy) and that hasn't happened in over a year.

    I haven't noticed any difference in the last couple days. There was one guy on a galleon in arena that was warping all over but I'm assuming he was playing over a wifi connection. Other than that, no noticeable lag on my end.

    @mferr11 i think it's a regional server problem, maybe some if the EU servers were bad.
