"Chicken Run" with Captain Le Cluck

    Today was a pretty decent day for news, huh?

    The most important news of all is the fact that WE CAN CARRY CHICKENS!

    ... why? I hear you muttering, well kind sir Pirate... it's simple...

    Chicken Runs...

    That's right! Treat chickens like one of yer crew and take them on their very own voyages!
    (Think the gnome carrying achievement from start to finish in Half Life 2)

    Streamers and content creators can take advantage of this (AWESOME) idea and dedicate runs to the challenge.

    and if the "portait painting" feature is still a thing come March 20th I would suggest that you must take a selfie with the chicken on every stop of the run as proof.

    Here's the concept map for the run:

    huehuehue - gosh darn I've gone coo coo.

    Here's how I reckon it should work.

    One person on the crew is the Chicken Handler - they CANNOT drop the chicken, under any circumstances (not even to heal) and the other three members of the crew must protect the Chicken Handler and escort them as far as humanly possible across the route.

    There should be a task that needs to be done on each island to validate going to each island on the run... but what? I might need your help coming up with the rules.

    So who want's to carry Captain Cluck around the Sea of Thieves with me?

    @wargrym Maybe other chickens can sabotage your efforts with dropping chicken feed which becomes a distraction to your chicken...

    Or even have it so there is other players as foxes chasing you.. like a PVP type battleground mini game :P

    We need eggs in the game now too. Getting eggs from point A to point B, protect as many as possible. If eggs are aleady a thing and just not put into the game yet along side the chickens.....may I ask..... which came to the game first ;p

    The crew must not make eye contact with another chicken. failure to do so will result in the absolute need to rescue said chicken for the rest of the journey, with the same rules and they must name the rescue chicken within 10 seconds of eye contact.

    Maximum of 2 chickens per run, any subsequent chickens must be fired out of the cannon and given a proper funeral, flintlocks raised, 3 shots fired from the entire crew. Perhaps even some kind of universal- chicken run challenge- pirate flag, but id imagine that becomes more readily accessible when we know how to design flags in game
