In a world where greed can curse you into immortality, you can imagine what the end game would ultimately be.
If greed can turn you into the walking dead then eventually there will be more dead then there are living. The only thing that could stop this would be the living rising up and joining together. In a Pirate of the Caribbean truce.
But we are far from this now. Some pirates don’t distinguish the living from the dead and feast on them just the same. Adding to the greed that will ultimately swallow the sea.
The Pirate lord found the sea of thieves in his search for adventure. Not in his addiction for greed. And once he did he saw the potential for the sea to be more than just a sea of thieves. Not because it could be. But because that’s the only way we will survive!! If we don’t start banding together now then it might be too late.
The Pirate lords children are training sailors in the ways of battle for a reason. But even their souls have been tainted by greed. And they have forgotten just exactly what is at stake.
I took a sacred vow with the Pirate lord, to rid the sea of thieves of all of its greed. To be the shield that guards the realms of the living and defeat skeletons anywhere I see to return what they have stolen back to the living. And in doing so maybe I can remind these pirates that it’s not every man for himself, it’s adventure vs greed!!
The war that Pirate Lord knew was coming
Like you, I have a feeling that there is a war on the way. It’s ether skeleton pirates or maybe a more familiar foe that, to some, drove them to the Sea of Thieves. Cursed Sails is a example for the need for Pirate Militia to guard and protect the Outposts and the Sea Dogs Tavern. And the need for a Pirate Fleet patrolling the sea against such foes like Skeletons or the Grand Maritime Union, to name a few.
