Kraken/Megalodon fish?

@agent-samuraii well the difference between fishing with a skeletonship around compared to a Kraken is that you can see in the water. A megalodon would scare the fish especially since it cause sharks to spawn more frequently. Such fish are either insane and are freaks of nature or just want death.

That’s the best part!! You can’t see what you’re catching, which is what would make the fish so rare too!

And let’s be honest, the cannon fire from your ship and the skeleton ship, would scare fish away too. A Megalodon? Hardly a problem.

Yknow there are fish that live in complete darkness for their whole lives IRL on the ocean floor. I’m pretty sure in a fictional world, the game devs could work a little magic and think of a fish that can easily survive in kraken ink.

@agent-samuraii most deep sea fish live in complete dark or even cave fish do. (Actually hoping for cave fish now XD) The difference between complete darkness and ink when it comes to fishing isn’t lack of light but ink that chokes you and would be harmful to nearby animals that dare swim in it. I would use example of octopi and sharks as an example why this wont work but for some reason in this game sharks have death sentences for human flesh so not a good point

Me personally I’m someone who does the dumb stuff while fishing (literally started fishing when I was being attacked by an enemy pirate crew because I knew I was outmatched and just decided to accept my fate; he surprisingly started to leave me alone after he realized he wouldn’t get a fight so it’s a win-win), so I’d definitely fish while there’s a kraken!
