Hi fellow shipmates,
I overheard someone ask if there were any new songs in the update. My reply was "not that I know of". But upon reflection I thought that the introduction of new sea shanties would be a good idea to add some more social time to the game.
In addition to that, I thought, rather than the new songs instantly appear in your repertoire, you should learn them for certain accomplishments. If there were too many songs to take with you to the high seas, a song book could be loaded with 4 or 5 of your favourite songs. The rest left at the outpost for another adventure. That way if you play a song and someone plays it with you, it would be you teaching them a new tune. Tons of ideas with that but it would flesh out the musical instrument aspect of the game.
