i'm going to tell you one thing , if you meet Mr Duncan for real , then he's not only a Giant in height , but you can also feel that he means it very well...The whole Rare crew has that same " strange" perk...They outsmart you by 100 or 1000 to 1 ( * Yow , moron , in your case it's 100 million to 1 , stupido) but they appraoch you like an equal , like a person they " want " to shake the hand off...when he shook my hand , i could feel that positive vibe , i don't think that he rules Rare with an Iron Fist , he's more the Leader of a FriendsPack wich resulted in an open culture in wich the " smallest" rank may speak up and bring forward an idea without to have eyes in the back that someone would steal it to be on the "good page " with Mr Duncan or the head of a Department...Wich businessleader allows that dogs come to work with their masters? Well, only those with a Good Heart for animals and who has the knowledge on how beneficial this gesture is towards the company's inner health...
No, in my ( * crossed) eyes , Mr Duncan is a Great Person!
This guy is dreaming.. he hasn't a clue how much vitriol & bullying his "monstrous creation" is injecting into the world. But of COURSE he wants to recognize their own courageous virtue, Lol.
I'm not saying people who work for Rare should walk around with a sense of shame, all I'm say.. ok yes, they should be ashamed.

Sorry , but this time i don't agree , the "vitriol " and bullying acts where omnipresent in any other game long before Mr Duncan and Rare decided to make this game. And no, i don't deny that there are bulliers and vitriolspitting persons around in this game , but they have not felt one tenth to what is really in this game...Many other peoples , including me, have found a total different way of playing , ...For example , Yesterday i sailed in the Insider Program , saw a moored Brigantine and decided to sail over ...i was tired and wasn't concentrating very well, so i sail over , and someone must have slipped behind my back on my Sloop , i hadn't heard nor seen him/ her...i apporoach the Brig and another Pirate starts to talk to what i'm coming to do, out of fear that yet another Insider wouldn't let him test the new things. i told him that i just sailed by to say hello and would not steal nor attack them , we had a little conversation about the thing he was testing and i sailed away ...To my suprize ,another Pirate walks by me, waves and jumps in the Sea ....They easely could have killed me, called me all names from the dirty book , and spawncamp me untill my supportsoles curled from frustration but...They didn't ...That means that this game is turning a mentality , a mentality that is anchored for so many years doesn't get changed into one evening , it will take maybe years but there are already many Pirates that can play without to humiliate eachother ...And therefore i praise Rare , and every Pirate that can play without spawncamping, gamecheating and using of unnessesary words...There are hundreds of stories to be found here in wich people have good fights without being verbally hurt...And real Friendships have been forged over whole countryborders as well...No, this game is slowly but certainly changing a lot of people's mentality towards games...Is it perfect , maybe not , but it's one of the very few games that at least try and slowly succeed to be a welcoming game for any kind of Pirate ...And many Pirates and me can only praise so we can finally be also part of a Multiplayer Community while being far away from being crackshots and achievers...
