The reapers voyage is a great concept but not because of the voyage itself but the change in behavior it causes. It puts a lot of ships in the vacinity of one area making it much easier to find ships. Also forts are still active and crews seem to think they can get away with free forts and more and more people around the server seem to have treasure on their boats. Long story short, last night netted about 80k gold in 2 hours and all from other ships and none of that cheap alliance stuff. Additionally the folks we fought were actually pretty good and fun to fight. Not sure why this hasn't always been the case to find things so active and a little challenging but it just hasn't. That seemed to changed the past week since the reapers voyages so thanks RARE!
Reapers Voyage Feedback Positive
@acebead40319154 I really hope Rare gives us more reasons to fly the reaper. A bit of competition really gets the blood flowing! Some simple commendations to work toward would be enough to have me flying it more often.
Also, it's great to see a post that gets the point of the voyage - to invite conflict. Cheers!
@luciansanchez82 yeah last night is the first time in a while the adrenaline kicked in... kind of rare for a game to do that. We had two enemies on our boat at one point with water starting to fill in on mid deck holes in a galleon after we got mega bombed and somehow we saved the ship killed the enemy on our boat and then turned the tides of the battle. Just brilliant! The funny part is the ship had tons of stuff on their boat and were in the middle of a skull fort right next to wanderers. After we sank them, we went to stock up on supplies at the fort and my buddy killed 1 Skelton in self defense and the captain spawned, lol. We then sailed over to wanderers and added to the pot!
