Athena commendations need work. Only completed the skull, cargo, chest, and legend chest commendations.

@testakleze I have delievered most of the DR cargos but that's all i have left there.

On athenas i have killing the sharkies 50 times over (41 is the closest which is the blue one), shrouded ghost and the animals and ships left to do but other than that im done.
So i feel ya haha

@reapinglegion my plans for the near future are finishing my last three athena voyages to buy the legend wheel, then rack up athena miles while I do a mix of forts, ship battles, random ships, and megs. I still need at least 50 of each of the stronghold pieces, 334 skeleton ships, and a lot of megs. That's a lot of hours and I'm looking forward to it.

@TH3xR34P3R I'm not seeing 500 skelly ships on your list. Do I have the honor of speaking with a Legend of the Sea of Thieves?

The one stat that is missing that I know I would want to know is time playing. Wish we could see that. I’m 2 achievements away and I’m 100%. Accommodations are just about all finished as well.

@th3xr34p3r I have like three friends who has 500 skellieships, can't understand how....but they all serverhopped for the shipcloud.

I see no point to wasting the time hopping anymore when I can by that time have a fully stocked ship ready for any and all encounters in the game whilst working on things I need to get done for the day/night.

Yea true, i just hunt for the free roaming ones and do skellieclouds when i have a well stocked ship!

I was not that active on the forums because of my university schedule, I just started to involve more a couple months ago. Also in the latest dev update, I think they talked about letting players to opt-in for pioneers. You will have to wait and see what is to become of this.

Not everyone goes through the same channels. The technical alpha is long gone. Pioneers are currently chosen based on availability and community involvement. Availability is self explanatory but community involvement is a bit more broad. Note, I was poking a bit of fun in my last thread but involvement goes more than simple rep gains. This can involve reporting bugs/ glitches/ or misbehavior to devs. It may also be involved in publishing fan art pieces or stories, which all goes hand in hand with reputation gains. All in all pioneers are chosen differently but usually involve being "highly active"

Am I understanding this stat correctly? A player played for 48 hours straight, and killed a skeleton ship every 8 minutes, while on a single server?

Means you visited less islands and traveled less distance to achieve more. Time efficient is key to this game.

As low as possible? Not really. - We who have sailed alot and visited alot of island are the most dedicated players out there if you ask me and many others.
So i disagree with ya.

@reapinglegion I understand you disagree and that’s fine, I’m around the 14mil sailed mark with friends in the 16mil mark and my experience far outweighs there’s. I also have accomplished more then all my friends and many people I meet on the seas with high stats. My point is at our high levels we should look at the stats and see how much you have accomplished and with the 12mil + stats who has actually done more. If another pirates stats are on par with mine and I’ve done 2mil less miles and visited 1500 less islands wouldn’t you say that shows experience in knowing how to be time efficient wich is the trick to this game getting more done in less time because it’s not a game you can get on just for an hour. You would know this as a player who was in from the get go, everything was slow and lil opportunitys to make money and get your stats up.Honestly if you are up above the 10mil mark and achieved very Lil your obviously just sailing around enjoying the game with friends or your sailing aimlessly. Doesn’t matter witch way you look at it you would aim for 1st in your friends list for chests sold, Skulls sold, merchants sold, voyages completed. If you want to flex and you have every right to, then flexing with lower miles and less islands visited but higher in other categories clearly shows your experience amung the higher level players.
I have people who are friends with me purely for competition purposes and I’m okay with that, this is how it’s gauged. Not criticizing your stats at all, well done 👍

@jellyfishapod2 that depends how you like to play the game, me personaly might sail up to an Island just to explore and get to know the world, its not all about the money

@augustus-deple Absolutely you may just want to look around and that’s cool, I’ve done plenty of that and know the map and every island like the back of my hand, to the point where I can tell friends in other servers where to find anything they are looking for. That’s why I added some people just sail around with friends. The stats was a competitive based talk. I’ve friends who just sail because they love the open seas lol they find it peaceful and don’t really much else. The game is open to how you want to play. But if want to pump our chests up the comments I made were to point out miles and islands visited are not to gloat to much about. I’ve done what you have too visited every island to explore.
