I started the session on my own in a sloop.. And after a while, someone joined my crew. It turned out to be one of the guys i played SOT with at the very beginning of SOT.
I was busy with some OOS in the Devils Roar and planning to reach PL. Since i found some extra doubloons, i was done with it and decided to buy the last level of OOS. With the 2 of us now, it could actually happen tonight! Everytime we had x-amount of skulls we sold it at the outpost..
We found some extra loot on the beach of Devil's Thirst, looked like a ghost ship beached there and 'sunk'.
With what we already had (couple of villainous, that could be enough for me!) Unfortunatly we were caught by a vulcano eruption and got sunk.. All the loot gone and so was my PL dream :'( !
We sailed back, tried to find the loot but it was gone :(
Went back to Ashen since we got 4 captains there and started gathering again. It was looking good! Went to Morrow for selling and as soon as we set off Flintlock.. Ofcourse! Skellyships spawns into us! While trying to prevent it from hitting us we sailed to Morrows. In front of the dock we dropped the anchor, let the skellies shoot our sloop while we were selling our skulls. And it turned out, i had 2 mm rep left to hit 49..
Un - be - lieveable!
We spawned back at Ancient Spire.. And what did i find in one of the barrels? A skelly voyage for Barnacle Cay with 3 skellies! This could be it! Maybe the wind was blowing in our favour after all!
We set off, fought the skellies and what did they drop?! 2 Foul skulls and a disgraced.. Yup, couldn't be much worse..
Went back to Ancient Spire, sold the 2 foul skulls and reached 49! [Mod edited] YEAH!
Ran upstairs to the tavern, found Duke behind one of the posts and bought my last OOS level.. FINALLY! I reached Pirate Legend!
After i figured out how to enter the PL cave spend my earned gold on the figurehead and there was another PL, not from my crew, standing next to me.. Out of instinct, shot him in the back and finished him with my cutlass!
I can tell you, he was not amused by that action :o
So my question, is there a gentlemen's agreement in the cave for not killing eachother, or does the law of the seas still count?
(btw, normally i wont kill anyone if i have nothing to lose.. so it probably wont happen again anyway :p)
