Serious Loading issues since last patch

    I thought it was a fluke. I'm normally a PC player, but loaded it up on my Xbox for the first time in forever, and it was slow to connect in just to the main menu, and then extra slow getting into the game (I did solo closed crew). once in everything was fine.

    Now I go back to my PC, and all of a sudden, same thing. This is slow (and it NEVER was.....I have never seen it this slow since BETA). Slow to get to menu (though not as slow as Xbox). It matchmaked to a open galleon. Then goes to go into the game and I'm just sitting here with the wheel turning. Something happened since the last patch and this isn't good :(

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    @monkeychow01 For me I am seeing no difference in my load into the game from the crew screen but much longer time to go from main menu to crew screen. I'm on PC.

    The "Enlisting Pirate" part from the main menu takes a long time. Loading into the game is about the same, if not slightly faster. Loading back from the ferry is much, much better.

    @d3adst1ck Beat me to it. I have noticed that enlisting pirate seems to freeze the game before you even get to the first menu. A while back they had a similar problem, though that one would freeze at "checking for fake coins".

    Loading into and out of Athena's Fortune is much faster, but clunky. Seems to have a lot of quick glitches when you first load, but quickly goes away.
