What's your TOP 5 in-game titles?

    Ahoy maties!

    Although I think 'Brave Vanguard' is very popular, I was still wondering what are the favourite in-game titles of the community?

    Here's my TOP 5:

    1. Legend of the Sea of Thieves: It's probably my goal at the moment because I love sinking Skeletons Ships, I have so much fun as it creates so many awesome epic moments. I've already defeated 90 in so many ways and I can't wait to wear this pretty title!
    2. Guardian of Athena's Fortune: it represents all the awesome stories I've created in my journey to Pirate Legend and Athena's Fortune. Also, by holding the guardian name, it gives the impression to be part of the lore of the game, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's coming next!
    3. Brave Vanguard: this title definitively reminds me my first experience in the game and all the extraordinary moments that made me love it. Proud to have been among the Founders to help Rare to build this wonderful game!
    4. Shark Slayer: it was the best social event of the game that I have experienced and this title reminds me those good memories!
    5. Sailor: I think this funny title kind of show where all my adventures started where I had to learn how to be a Pirate with no money, no fancy clothes, no reputation and I was only able to show what I was truly capable of!

    Feel free to explain your choice and include the titles that you have not yet achieved but you would like to wear!

    I like "Protector of the Wilds" because it sounds kinda environmentalist.

    @skulliah I'm not sure I've equipped 5 since I started playing, so I'll just mention the couple I enjoy.

    • Brave Vanguard: Same as you, it's where the adventure began for me. Sea Of Thieves was the first game I ever followed during it's development and the first time I've ever played an alpha of a game. It's great to have that title to show I was there.

    • Merchant Voyager: Unlocked this last week. I'm one of those weirdos who found Merchant voyages quite relaxing, in their own way. So it was great to complete 250 of them!

    • Legend of the Sea of Thieves: Skelly ship battles are fun! I'm really pushing to get this done and unlock those awfully garish Legend cannons! I shall wear this title with pride!

    I completed 110/250 cuz i dont do pigs i often dont complete them..

    Got 200 chickenz on shedule
    Got 200 goldies on shedule
    Got 393/500 miles merchant business

    Im master merchant but still got a lot to do and no time to waste :D

    Guardian of Athena’s Fortune.
    As the OP; this sums up my Sea of Thieves journey so far, with many hundreds of hours of amazing gameplay. Wearing this title means I also don’t have to wear the hat to show my progress.

    Hunter of the Cursed Captains.
    This was my title for several weeks as I progressed through the last ranks of Athena, I wore this title proud in knowing I had defeated 1000 Skelly Captains. Through my long journey if I saw a player with this title, I would commend them and be green with envy.

    Conquer of the Skeleton Fleets.
    Simple one this, Cursed Sails was an epic event. It was also my first event as a Pirate Legend.

    Legend of The Sea of Thieves.
    This is a title is the ultimate goal for me, by far the coolest sounding.

    Well, @Skulliah... the one I use all the time is Merchant Sailor.
    Because I feel people will assume I'm a pirate when I'm not.

    As for 4 other titles?

    @skulliah black powder merchant for, i cant explain why but i wanted it from the day the game released.

    Legendary thief i think will be a cool title to have too as well as legend of the sea of thieves.

    I don't really pick them based on what they take to get so much, so I was using Seeker of Lost Souls forever.

    But I've become more disgruntled and jaded lately so now I'm a Hoarder of Treasured Tears.

    Welp, my first has got to be:

    Treasured Deckhand - it's a unique one and I tend to wear it most of the time....unless I'm involved in something extra piratey ;)

    Devil's Cartographer - I love maps, I love exploring, what else do you need to know!

    Guardian of Athena's Fortune - this will be an epic one to gain and like yourself, I love the idea it gives an impression of being part of the lore, especially after having read the novel!

    Sailor of the Whispering Bones - Order of Souls is my favourite Trading Company and this just exemplifies the mystery around them.

    Brave Vanguard - this has got to be one, and it embodies that spirit of exploration and discovery and all the amazing times we had during the Alpha phase.

    Can't really vouch for five as I have only ever worn two.

    'Sailor' because I'm a simple man with simple needs. (Tho a simple 'Captain' would be nice)

    And when I seen it I knew I had to get it but I switched to 'Bearer of the Reapers Mark' because it sounds cool and to me just screams like there has to be a story behind it and I'm all about story.

    Can't pick 5 as I wear the Treasured Deckhand title 99% of the time.

    I use the Sailor title now and then when I join random crews and play the role of a new player. Had some amazing voyages while doing this & met some great pirates.

    As no one seems to want castaway chests I happily collected them to earn the title Hoarder of the Castaway's Gold, which I wear occasionally with pride. Once I helped a crew complete a fort with the promise they let me have the castaway inside, I took nothing else.

    Merchant of the Serpant's Scale eludes me at the moment as I rarely get snakes on orders and usually keep them around for company when I do. But will wear with pride when I do achieve it.

    1. Hunter of the shrouded ghost, i don't have it yet but it's pretty special since that meg is hard to find.

    2. Pirate legend, marking the biggest goal that i achieved months ago since i played like a maniac 11-12 hours per day.

    3. Brave vanguard, it will always remind me of great adventures from Alpha and Beta builds.

    4. Devils Cartographer because i really enjoyed to explore the new treacherous area.

    5. Sailor, for a little nostalgia, to remember those first days when you had nothing but a vast open world to discover, friends to make and enemies to beware of, treasures to be found and dangers to be crossed.

    Im Right now wanting the Title: Legendary Skeleton Exploder

    For me it’s one of the hardest Titles, because you can’t grind for it!
    -You need an Active Fort
    -You need in the best case an friendly other Crew
    -You need Gunpowder Skellys at The Fort(they’re not spawning everytime)
    -You have to group up 5+the Gunpowder Guy
    -The blow have to kill them all

    I had originally tried to make my player tag "CartographerPete" but it was too long, so I settled for "SurveyorPete". On land, a surveyor is someone who makes maps too; but a marine surveyor is actually more concerned with assessing the sea-worthiness of ships.

    My top 5:

    Pirate Legend
    I will never forget the day i fiat achieved this title. It was the same day as the launch of forsaken shores and the title is special cause it remind me of my journey thus far

    Legend of the Ses of Thieves
    This title is awesome. It will probably be one of the last title i work towards as it would be the one i will always use when i get it. It will br a reminder of my journey to riches and plunder and a reminder of all my achievements.

    Master Merchant
    This title is here mainly cause of my wicked wicks wares joke/idea i had one day. Wicked wick is a master trader and his shop on the Sanctuary Outpost is always visited by pirates.

    Brave Vanguard
    This title reminds me of the early alpha and beta days and thus will remind me of the awesome people i met from those days.

    And last but not least Devil’s Cartographer
    It's a recent favorite title of mine. Why? Well its the most scientific title that i have. And when your the mighty megalogist Herbert von Kuundfa studier of megladons you need a science title.

    I love the sailor title, I don't brag about being a pirate legend nor do I ever give my athena level. I just run around with a nice set composed of multiple items from multiple sets that look nice on me and have fun. My sailor title reflects how I feel about being a pirate legend.

    For Legend of the Damned, I believe you need to complete all of the Flame of Fate bilge rat commendations (or a large portion of them)

    • Scholar of Curses cause I curse like a sailor.

    • Merchant of Death, not being a combat reference is actually pretty cool

    • Chronicler of Legend, hey, I spread tales of the bold and cunning.

    • Hoarder of Mermaid Treasure. I solo'd this btw. Ask me how to solo Ruby Mermaid Statues.

    1. Merchant of death this one i wear the most since it sums up what happens most times what happens when i fiend an opposing ship

    2. Legend of the sea of thieves it was a grind to get this one but oh boy was it worth it

    3. Legendary thief, i think this one ties in with number 1

    4. Triumphant sea dog whilst i have grown bored with arena due to first grinding to complete the original commendations (including the 240 wins for the pl gear) and then the new ones when they came out, i do love to show off this by showing that i have triumphed over so many other crews

    5. Sailor, mainly to mislead players and make them think im new to the game
