I think it would be a good idea to introduce fishing into the game possibly as part of the merchant voyages as currently this is very limited thoughts anyone?

There has been a lot of requests for this and rare has put it into the back burner though some people think this may come in forsaken shores!
They said in an interview that they're trying to bring fishing with Forsaken Shores, actually, but tha they don't know if they could do the job in time (so if its not in Forsaken Shores it's going to be at the next fall update)
@lewis-myler Yep fishing is gonna be a thing is Sea of Thieves at some point. Merchant would be perfect for it but nothing has been said regarding how it will be implemented. Me, I'd like to be able to fish off my boat and the piers of the Outposts, being able to post somewhere, your biggest catch! Can't wait!

I personally can't wait to see fishing in the game. For me, it has to be a fully fledged system, maybe even a new trader? Who has a biggest catch of the day board?
