Lately I have noticed an issue with treasure that is re-burying itself if I die while it is still being unburied. I am not sure what is causing this but perhaps the island is 'reloading' when I visit again after my trip from Davy Jones's ship?
This is a bit tough to figure out sometimes because once you 'tap' the chest - it is taken off the map, and in some cases that might have been the last chest so now you don't even have the map.
If this is something that is not immediately fixable then I would propose a minor change in the mechanics of when the "x" is taken off the map. Require the chest be fully dug up before the "x" is removed. This will solve two issues.
- Partially dug chests simply are getting re-buried. With the "x" not removed until fully unburied then the pirate has a better chance of finding it again since the last time they attempted it led them to their doom.
- Pirate Legends and their crew are just 'tapping' chests and leaving them. If they are forced to fully unbury it then that chest will be left in a more obvious vantage spot for other fortunate and more patient pirates to find. :-)
