I hate to break it to you, but the reason you’re not feeling the “acceptance” is because you’re acting like an acrimonious twit. When you talk to people that way, you may expect the same in return. Try acting like a decent human being and maybe you’ll feel more “accepted”.
Canada day will be a whole event when they add the new Maple Syrup Crate that you have to sail via rowboat from galleon grave all the way to Golden Sands via the Northern added zone filled with iceburgs.

I just don't see how people can be against the 'idea' of inclusion an' equality that the pride flag is intended to signify. But then isn't that how lots o' problems start, people can't see the other side o' the coin.

Not meaning to play devils advocate here, I think we be on the same side o' the fence, but @Admiral-GreyJoy was making the point that socially (as in relating to society) we are not born equal. Some be born wit' a silver spoon in their mouths, some be born into poverty. Some be born wit' a disease or condition, some be born genetically fortunate. Luck o' the draw comes into it a lot.
But that is getting away from the specific equality that the flag (dear god how are we still talking about this flag) represents. Specifically the equality of the LGBT (add more letters as required) community, and those that support said community.

I'm sorry but people didn't need the flag to be hateful, ignorant, rude, xenophobic, homophibic etc.. I've played with people, some adults too, using the 'n' word so often I had to leave. Others using the speaker to yell out homophobic slurs and the like.
This flag symbolises respect, inclusivity and equality. It's time we start accepting what it stands for and not who it 'apparently' represents.

You can have an opinion. You have a right to an opinion. But nobody has to respect it. Your opinion may be that the world is flat, it would be wrong and I would say as much. Rare don't have the same opinions as you. They think you are wrong.
