Greetings Merchants, Pirates and fellow Explorers!
Experiencing Hungering Deep, I found my only issue was finding others to help participate. Now I know when events first start, most will blast them out, right away. Others might wait, and some just don't have the time. As of right now, our biggest guarantee to find other crews, is outside of SoT, via Discord, Social Media or the Forums. I'd personally prefer to have a means to find like minded individuals, in SoT, without needing to server hop, or wait at the quest giver. Last night, I spent about 7 hours (not joking) searching for someone to help summon Meggy.
My suggestion!
When a new event starts that requires multiple crews, make an event flag that when displayed, will matchmake players. Once the event is over, it can be just another flag to add to your collection.
Pros:
- Helps bring players together
- Could possibly lower server hopping
Cons:
- Could be used as a tool to hunt players (but so can camping the quest giver)
