I boarded you while you were trying to raise anchor and escape, and killed you. You had two golden chickens, some other chickens, and a mysterious relic. You immediately scuttled after dying.
You probably won't find this post, but I'm very sorry about killing you. Had I realized you were solo and not a threat, I would have left you alone. If I remembered your name, I would have messaged you on XBox to apologize (this game really needs a kill log.)
I've changed my policy regarding sloops, especially those that are clearly solo. I shall strive to be a more considerate killer. (I'll never sympathize with a galleon, though. If you lose a 1v4, you deserve to lose everything.)
I'll have you know that I just solo-boarded a duo sloop after ramming them, and because of you, I let them shoot first while I dodged so I could assess them. They were just kids, and were very thankful that I helped them repair the damage I caused and didn't attack them. They even offered me treasure. It was heartwarming.
I am a changed pirate, thanks to you. Thank you for the lesson, and again, I apologize for ruining your play today.
