Game Needs A Mic Volume Input Adjuster

  • Im on PC using the hyperx cloud2 headset. It is a usb headset and has its own sound card so you cannot adjust the mic volume in the sound settings on windows. This causes my mic volume to be extremely low ingame and forces a lot of people I play with to use the xbox chat.

We need an input volume slider in the options to adjust our own mic volume.

  • My plantronics have the same issue. People on Xbox find it hard to hear me.

  • Still hoping this option comes into the game soon. Its tiresome not being able to communicate with other players.

  • Yep. Completely agree. Surely we’re not the only two users that have this issue?

  • Same prob using corsair void pro

  • Guessing both your mics are also usb?

  • Funny enough I have the same issue when using my headset with the Xbox One Controller and the original wireless PC receiver but not when I use the same headset with my Logitech G510 keyboard's mic input.

Both act as USB soundcards but the Logitech enables the +20DB boost in Windows 10 while the Xbox controller does not and therefore the microphone is not loud enough with the Xbox controller.

  • I’m using Astro A40’s + Mix Amp Pro and have no issues being heard. In fact I’ve been told I sound super crisp and loud. (Not too loud, just easily heard)

  • @sanni That sounds quite annoying. Only way I got mine to work was luckily the headset has a 3.5mm jack that connects to its own soundcard to usb. So I bought a 3.5mm to audio/mic splitter. It works but now my headset cord is only 3ft long.
