Picture the scene:
I be sat in me crows nest a perching over the ledge watching fer me shipmate to return with the swag. I wer' keepin' me eyes peeled fer other vessels on the horizon when a sneaky sloop o' 2 came by us. Luckily the treasure be aboard by now and the anchor raised so we put the wind to our backs and set sail fer the outpost yaaaaaar!
This other crew didn't take kindly to me waves and gestures though and took after us like the Kraken to a loaded Galleon. She chased us round the sea and those 2 scurvy dogs be clearly more skilled with sail than I given the way they could make the distance and take a shot o' their cannon! A miss though and he had te wait fer the fishy maid to pick him up so on we went heading for land.
I be wantin' to part ways with the Captain's chest first, so a dive I be takin' from the port side whilst they be distracted. T'was a nice 1000 gold to earn that day, but eventually we decide to beach the sloop and dump the hoard as fast as we can, only to have the dastardly duo park by outside and sink us!
Our loot be long gone - handed in and in our purse, so we took the fight to those scurvy dogs! me shipmate raised the anchor and we drove it toward the rocks for Davy Jones, before finding a Hateful Skull dumped next te the wheel! Ahoy that be a fine find!
With a quick trip to the ferry for me and one of them it be right back to our sailin'!
Shocked I be when we see them at our destination no 30 minutes later! Another chase and another win for me crew - 10K in total from a single Gold Hoarder quest - those scallywags manage to miss a Captains and Marauder's chest left in the chambers of the Sailor's Bounty cavern system!
Ye can take me Sloop, but ye can never have me booty! PVP be here to stay and I be stayin' right alongside it. I may meet Davy Jones and the Ferryman more often than not, but the Sea of Thieves be my kind of Grog!
