@rippem911 Nah, I prefer fighting galleons because it's hilarious when I 1v4 them for 20+ minutes while they swear at me in game chat and call me a hacker. In my expereince 3/4 of the galleons I've come across have been absolutely terrible players, either brand new or just a random crew matchmade together. The occasional good galleon makes it interesting, it's fun to try to outmaneuver them. If they were to force me to play with just solo players I'd probably never solo again that'd be so boring.
Sloops with solo players
I solo on sloop all the time, I find it easy enough to dodge Galleons. It's part of the fun. I play it pretty passively, I wouldn't attack first, I just go about my business. If you are having issues use the environment ( go round islands, sharp turns etc ), head into the wind. Do drive-by drops on outposts, just make sure you have empty water ahead when you leave your ship... cash in & get the mermaid back. Plus... don't carry more than you can afford to lose.

You can also try & bait them on some-else if all else fails.
Honestly I don't get the majority of complaints against. If it's the case you can only have fun with a sloop when you're against Galleon, then I have to imagine the battle is even more boring for Galleon crews. Not to say a Gallein can easily stomp any sloop, but it doesn't even sound like most here even want to play against sloops, so why force that on Galleon crews? It's not like a Sloop server would be the same as a PvE server, you still have to worry about enemy sloops, it'd just be balancing out crew numbers essentially.
As a solo slooper I will tell you that the reward is the satisfaction of knowing you can do it alone. It should be harder to be a solo player in a multiplayer game. There should be incentives to team up, not incentives to go lone wolf.
