lets you continue playing exactly where you left off what would you loose in the process?

The will to carry on the gankfest, pointless grindfest and lack of any meaningful content and reward system?

whew, thankfully it's ended. i expect players actually commited to this game with hard earned money to have a different respect level for other players, over what we've seen so far.

It's a 14 day trial. You're assuming everyone who had one started it 14 days ago.

@v4c-saucey why wouldn't you justify spending money on a game you "really enjoy playing"? it's only going to get better as they build it and mold it to our liking. i haven't even turned my ps4 on since this came out, so i'm going to get my $60 value out of it pretty quick.

I feel like the fact that everyone thinks the gamepass players will now be gone is a strong testament to the fact that there is very little to do in this game. Which is why they won’t even bother spending $10 to continue playing.

People keep droning on about what will come. Rare have already failed. Release a game, then add to it. Don't release a game half baked, then finish it months later in an attempt to strech out its longevity. I'll refrain from further irrelevant comments though, as much as I am dissapointed with this game.

I've been playing the game for free, and enjoying it, but I quickly realized I was enjoying it because its give me what I did not previously have; a game that I could play with most of my freinds. Now they're all realized its a fairly empty and dull game and are losing interest, i'm not really sure why i'm still playing. I think subconsciously I'm still hoping rare comes out with a late 'aprils fools' and gives it what the game actually should have been.

I might get another month for £7, which is a modest price, but beyond that I don't plan to stick with it. It was fun to think I'd finally found my pirate game I've been waiting years for since Pirates: Legend of Black Cat, but alas, this is no Pirate game. Sea of Thieves has almost nothing to do with piracy. It's Pirate themed, but in practice it's actually two game rather poorly joined at the hip. Sailing fetch quest game and cartoony pirate ship battle with probably no reward ever game. Not a terrible marriage, but poorly done.

It's enjoyable for sure, but for me it's a confirmed time of death now. Unless they get out a very hefty content update within the next year that might get the game a second wind, I think it's lights out already. You'll always get a few players that stick with any game, but that's not what designing and creating games is about for me. They'd literally need 10x the amount of content to reignite the launch momentum of this game.

I I'm not playing it anymore simply because theres no content and the cutlass freezes you anytime you hit another player

Now the devs will see the REAL response to their game. Servers are likely going to be seeing a HUGE drop in traffic. I just don't see all those people renewing gamepass or buying the game, I think we are just going to wait for more content before buying it.

I’m looking forward to it!! SOT deserves to get battered until RARE releases a full game...
