I played a lot since the official release, and I must say, the ships need some balancing.
I played both type of ships, and the galleon is waaaaaay to powerful. Let me explain.
So I was killing bosses on small island with a friend, and a galleon arrived. killed both of us and took all the loot from the bosses. 2 against 4, of course we lost. But then we tried to catch up to them and steal back our loot, but it's impossible. Galleons are way faster with or against the wind. It's like every multiplayer game, every one knows that the more you are, the greater your chances to win.
Galleons can steer, repair, angle the sail, and shoot with one cannon at the same time. (1 cannon is enough to kill a sloop if your aim is good) while the Sloop is struggling to do all that at the same time. I think because of that, Sloops should be at least faster. Or maybe split the sessions in two; galleons only and sloop only sessions. this is only fair
Day one: Sloop vs Galleon

@crazee-killer Me and my mate can outrun them easily.
One of us just stays below deck repairing and bailing water. While the other sails wherever the wind is directly at our backs. Never a problem then. As even if they follow, they need to turn in order to hit us. And even if they hit us, it means nothing as one is still repairing.Guys, you's need to play more games were teamwork is needed. :P
