Privite Servers on SOT

    So me and my friends use to this game to chill, sail around quest it up, but every 5 mins were being attacked by sloops and galloens empty with nothing to lose by suicidal crews and we fed them off again and again but they spawn only 2 islands over and come blindingly obvious back again and it takes 2 hours to a single mission because you have to run from people with nothing to lose... very frustrating all to together, all i am saying is a privite server you and your friends can join to peacfully play the game in peace. Reduce the amount of money or xp earned by doing so, but be nice for the casual players among us

    Complained about same issue since alpha already . Honestly .. i have lost faith that anything will change. And if i know the forums right you soon get attacked by other people defending those actions

    @noblackthunder @MartinManGaming I don't who defends that. It's kinda sad really. The only thing to do now would just be to leave and join a different server.

    @britishtwin-one People defend spawn killing for me it has become really hostile here with nonsense in this forum. earlier this week everyone mentioning Privat servers as a simple and fast solution got atacked by most likely the same people that like to grief. Privat servers are a solution. And honestly leaving server and starting over again ( especially when server have already issues with the current amount of players) is not ether a good soulution. But Allot of people complained about this issue already in the closed alpha and nothing has been done. I decided to refund my game for now until i ether see privat servers or a magic solution for this issue ( that i dont believe exist without breaking pvp for actual honorable pvp players) Privat servers for PVE only fix this issue as far as i can see without taking something away from the PVP group or limiting them. When it come to programming this .. this is also the easiest and fastest solution. I really wanna play this game .. but there is no point playing a game when you cant play it because you get fast camped in and spawn killed and need to constantly chaning servers. On top of the reward and rep issues we had

    Okay look this game is not supposed to be some joyride. The life of piracy was never a joyride or easy. This game is all about Risk and Reward. There would be absolutely no risk for a big reward, making it much easier for you to become a pirate legend, which would lessen the value of that achievement by a great deal. This all comes in one big package as to make the achievements and personal goals made by players actually mean something and not mean that you grinded in the pve server all the way to pirate legend status

    Don't mean to burst your bubble but to be fair this is what sea of thieves is about how can you expect the developers to change what makes the game competitive and risk reward by boarding another ship to see if they have treasure all part of being a pirate on the seas I'd say you'll have to get better and avoid this happening

    @noblackthunder I said "the only thing to do now", keyword is "now." They will most likely improve that in the future. Give me an example of you being 'attacked.' By the way people disagreeing with you is not being attacked. Hostile? Haha, wouldn't go that far. Reward and rep issues? They've been fixed mate. I don't like spawn killing but you can stop it, when you die and spawn on the ferry of the dammed, scuttle ya ship and you'll spawn on ya ship at a different island, not the mermaid anymore.
