I have a sword equip, but i cant equip a second weapon. I'm aware the game has bugs. I just want to see if anyone knows a fix. I have tried restarting the game twice already. What i mean is im only able to have 1 weapon equiped at a time.

I've been cursed with the same bug.
The way I fix it is by making sure I have a weapon equiped in both slots, (even if one is grayed out) this can be done by going to the armoury.
Once both weapon slots are occupied by a weapon you have to find a way to kill yourself (jumping off the crow's nest or drowning).
You can use both weapons again after respawning. :)Happy Pirating!

I can confirm that this workaround helped.
@blahsahrow This is a known bug. For now the workaround seems to help some people, so i’ll be dropping anchor on this thread. ;D
