I'm not sure if this is tied to the game or to my headset, but this is the only game where I have this issue, so I believe it is the former.
I have the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 headset which has two volume controls; one for chat, the other for game audio. The chat audio controller does not control the volume of those speaking, everything is controlled through the game audio volume control. Every other game I play I haven't had any issue with this. I don't know if it is because of the in-game settings option for proximity chat to go through speakers or headset, but either selection results in game chat to be only controlled with the game audio volume.
Anyone know of any fixes or has this happened to anyone else?
