SOT and Ark are two very different games :o just to clarify what are you asking for specifically?
Sea of Thieves Vs Ark
@pink-lemonade27
I like Ark and Love Sea Of Thieves and Trolling is in every game, its not about if you get trolled or not, its about how you handle it and move on!I don't think trolling makes a game "more intense" nor more enjoyable in any real form. Besides, Sea of Thieves is not ARK, and really shouldn't try and pretend to be something it's not. Too many problems with games just trying to copy each other and be the same thing, a real lack of any originality in the industry.
I don't hope to suggest or ask for anything in a game "just because another game has it and said game is popular or successful." A very shallow ended approach to making your own identity as a franchise. Whatever path it takes, I hope it remains ones on decisions of being unique and working within the vision and idea of the game, not a cop-out recreation of something else.
@pink-lemonade27 Trolling is meant to Deliberately upset someone and get an angry response from someone sinking and fighting players is something meant to happen but for example repeatedly lowering the anchor on your own crews ship is not meant to happen and would be an example of trolling a crew.

Arks online community is a toxic heap of trash!!
You want that kind of thing brought to SOT, no thanks!!
Choosing servers just breeds toxicity & griefing, as Ark has proven!@Pink-Lemonade27
Clearly, you enjoy ARK and the dynamics that it has. But, at a certain point I also think you need to realize that Sea of Thieves and Ark have a whole different set of dynamics.Sea of Thieves you progress by turning things in, in Ark you progress by building bases and hoarding materials or using it to build things. Which kind of makes any "raid" idea of other players a bit pointless as there's nothing to raid but their ship. As their ship is their home. Plus, even if you raid their ship there's some things to keep in mind
- they might not have loot because, in order to progress in SoT, you turn in loot. You don't hoard it to build better stuff, or hoard it on your ship. So there's always a chance they have nothing.
- they might be doing merchant quests, and opening fire first would cost you money
- they might be smart enough to keep the loot out of your hands or vastly outplay you since everyone is on a level playing field as SoT comes down to your wits and not your stats.
I wouldn't mind alliances that, in a way, incentivize players to cooperate. Because there will always be a reason for betrayal, as there's no real consequences for doing so besides influencing your own reputation with other players. But, the idea of mega tribe raids and such doesn't fit in Sea of Thieves because they're just two vastly different games with vastly different ideologies and player encounters/player numbers on their servers.
