I don't want to be stuck with the same generated character forever. Please allow us to choose a character every time we play. And maybe favourite ones we like so we can go back to playing as them if we wanted.
And i don't want each time choose my pirate - Its should be permanent

In a multiplayer world, with some (loose) RPG elements to it, surely it makes sense for you to pick a pirate that you really like and then stick with it?
It helps people recognise you when you sail with regular parties, it helps other people who regularly end up in your play sessions recognise you as well, not to mention the gear you pick for one character might not look so good on another!You don't pick a character in games Like Fallout, Skyrim etc. and then expect to change them too much for the next 100 hours.
Its a Bad idea, i dont like it! I hate those Games, like WoW where you have 10 Toons! Wheres the Character Identification?? You cant build a reputation when youre switching every Day between 5 Chars! Its Dumb! One Character and gud! Why theres a Ton of Cosmetics?? Theres a Reason! Sit down on release and make a wise decision which Char you want to play to the End of Seas!
I'm perfectly ok with you having a couple slots for saves and being able to pick a character that is independent of your other characters (in progression, gold, etc.). But I do not think you should just be able to swap out your core appearance at will whenever you want.
We'll all have different opinions on it, but ultimately Rare is going for a game about you. They want your character's look, appearance and reputation to mean something. That means some sacrifices were made. If you could just change your core physical attributes, gender, etc. at whim, it would weaken the reputation/pirate legend component of the game design and probably weaken the community as a whole.
@sshteeve But you can start a new game and create a new character, and have multiple characters. Can't in this. That's why we should be allowed to choose.

I'm not going to bicker over it. Rare has thought out every design element. If you watch their videos and conversations about the game, reputation is a fundamental mechanic driving their design choices. You might disagree with their approach, but they've very clearly explained that they want players/ships to be meaningful and tell a story. If players can change their core appearance at will, it detracts from that design element.
@alymon Not liking your own character detracts even more. Again, nothing wrong with giving us the option, if you want to be limited and keep the same look forever then go for it.
