After the second scale test... here are my thoughts.... (Mostly about respawning)

  • I've said these before but just really want to state again. My only major issues with this game are the slow responsiveness of the sword fighting, and of course the respawning.

    Tonight our ship was sunk and we kept respawning at the mermaid... and we had another crew floating around the respawn point, killing us over and over again before we could even get our bearings. You exit the Ferry of the Damned, watch the long white screen, and the instant you enter the world you're shot point blank in the face with a shotgun. There has to be a way to fix this. I say when you run through the doors on the Ferry give people the option of where to spawn. "Ship or Return to Outpost". Anything.

  • @tedakin i would like it if you have 5-10 seconds of invulnerability after spawning, except you can't equip anything during that period, so you know people wouldn't kill you while you can't kill them, heck it can even have a lore reason, such as you are still taking corporeal form so if you try to hold anything it just falls through your hands.

  • @tedakin I'd also like to add that hiding the mermade from those not in your team. Otherwise you are respawning in the water close to mermaid and the enemy is sitting right there killing you over and over.
