Just wondering how respawms will be? When you die where do you respawn and how long?

So to be clear am I right in that if you die all your stuff stays on your ship, but if your ship is destroyed you lose eveything!
@westwood37 You ship is pre-stocked with some resources, but yes, if your ship is destroyed any extra that you have gathered will be gone. It goes down with the ship!
