I've been playing the game since release and I fell in love played the game more then any other game I have ever played. Yesterday I logged on to notice a few items missing from my account, the ill omen curse and the mercenary sails. Now understanding many players hadnt had the doubloons correctly reset and needed adjustments I was not one of them. I had spent all but 173 doubloons prior to the reset on the assumption it was going to zero. Come the weekender event I finished all playing with other crews to earn enough to buy the cosmetics, to log on and have two of them stolen from me(the mercenary sails and curse of ill omen). I made a ticket like any other pirate would. To be told I didnt have my doubloons reset which is completely wrong. I haven't and did nothing wrong EVER to deserve this disservice. I think if they are gonna steal anything from me and make me grind even more and buy those AGAIN then I should have the choice of which I keep and have to grind again for. Id much rather them take the figurehead(1500 doubloons) to keep the curse(1500), id much rather them take the jacket(500) and keep the sails(500). If I keep getting told the decision stands for mistakes and choices they made I will infect give up the game and make it a mission to tell what has happened to me. This is completely unfair at its core over something a player like myself did absolutley nothing wrong. I did receive 2000 or more doubloons due to what I believe was multiple of my quests were bugged and never got to complete and being camped on a solo sloop so a duo crew could get grubs burned on the stove of the ship, they wouldn't let it sink and made sure it didnt during the weekender event.
To say the least I am very disappointed in this decision and being told it was handled correctly is insane.

@burnbacon that still doesnt give them a reason to take anything away from me. I put my time and effort into earning the rewards. Its a deal breaker for me as I shouldn't have anything stripped from me and even if I do then it should be my choice of what should be taken not theirs.
@xfriken When reset happened I simply lanuch game and wanna grind doubloons BUT I saw I have 3000 doubloons with 4000 cap, so I had to use these doubloons to be able to grind more and be fair with game/players and myself. I used them and then I was grinding. Whole weekender I was online, not only getting each cosmetic from Duke but also Larinna cosmetics/emotes. After I get cosmetics I didn't stop, I was grinding till i get 4000/4000 doubloons just to have them for next cosmetic drop. Almost after a month, without a simple info in game I lost all these cosmetics and emotes, after few minutes i found post on X that they reseted my progress again. Devs can't even communicate with their own players. I created a ticket to explain that I was a player who actually did grind and i didn't try to cheat. In response i get information that only "few" accounts get double reset but that is not true, and also SOT support told me that they can't give these cosmetics back (but they can take it away xd) and also there is still chance for me to but them because items are still in game. That's funny that devs don't respect time of their own players. I could understand that if i hop in game, buy all items and then idk go play hourglass or even stop playing game. But I was literally grinding doubloons whole event with my friend. I got double reset, he has every item as he should. This make me not playing this game, literally I just launched it when my friend asked for help. I don't need play this game alone when devs don't respect players time. It's not about these specific cosmetics, i don't care, its about my and others people time that we lost and now they expect us to lose time again for this.
