I have had an issue for weeks now where I try to play SoT but I can't get past the account linking screen. I have logged in with every possible account I may have used in the past, and I continue to get a SaturnBeard error. I have referred back to the FAQ and looked at the forum for possible solutions. Microsoft does not help with support and neither does submitting a ticket request. I have put in 3 tickets in SoT, too, and I keep getting what seems to be AI generated responses with hyperlinks sending me back to a FAQ answer. Microsoft sends me to the their general account and can't find a solution or even that my PlayStation is linked there either. Any whiff of games when calling Microsoft and it refers me to Xbox.com which is not relevant. At this point, I don't even care about progress. I am willing to start new and lose any unsaved progress from my previous account. I can't play the game as of now. I don't want a refund. I want to talk to an actual human who can help me with this problem I have NO solution to. This is ridiculous, and really sours my gaming experience and my impression towards the producers of SoT.
Sea of Thieves UNPLAYABLE on Playstation
I'm not sure it can help but did you see this comment on this reddit thread?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Seaofthieves/comments/1grzgp8/how_can_you_fix_the_saturnbead_eror_code_in_sea/"After about a week of messing around I have finally figured out the saturnbeard PS5 issue. For the longest time I was using what I thought to be the right email information. I even went and backlogged all my emails to find the earliest Microsoft emails and it still didn’t work when I tried to login. Turns out that my account is actually linked to my email through Hotmail so even though I was putting the right email, I would still get the saturnbeard message. I put my email info back in but this time with @hotmail.com instead of @gmail.com and it logged me in after a week of being clueless with no help. I hope this helps someone out. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask as I’m the only person I’m aware of to have fixed the saturnbeard issue"
@jetorchidee97 hello, this specific solution did not work for me, but I did stumble upon the account that was initially used and was able to get in. I ended up putting my phone number and through a security check verification, it mentioned an email I didn't recall before. Thank you for helping me come to a resolution because hounding down SoT support and Microsoft customer service was infuriating.
