New type of islands in devils roar

  • Hello everyone,

as a player that most of the times playes solo, I really enjoy the passive pve being in the devils roar.

Recently with season 13 there have been added Skeleton camps to the game, i really enjoy doing them. Is it also possible that there could be added a skeleton camp and/or a sea fort to the devils roar? Because there are a lot of small islands in the devils roar where probably one of them could turn into a skeleton camp.

I would just like to see some updates to the devils roar as I really like the biome.

  • Yeah, it is kind of strange that Devils Roar is never "part" of the rest of the map. It feels more like a side game or zone. Let the storm roam there. Add a Skeleton Camp. Let World Events spawn there. Add a Treasury and a Shrine. Add a second Outpost in the northern end. There is a lot that they could do to integrate it better with the rest of the map.

  • Maybe add some transitional islands that are partly volcanic and partly normal

  • Between the roar and the rest of the map

  • @rikjaxx yeah I totally agree. Hopefully they will add atleast something new to the Roar so it feels atleast a bit fresh.

There is a Skeleton Fort in the Devils Roar, but there are no quests there, and definitly since skullforts can't spawn there anymore. Maybe they could add a new type of 'Ashen Skullfort' like the Fort of the Damned that you can start yourself. And as 'main reward' they could do an ashen chest of legends with some other ashen loot.

We did a skeleton fort in the Roar in S12; they're not very frequent, but they do occur.

  • @die-gute-doc yeah, it really feels you are a different map, like going to Tribute Peak where also nobody comes.

  • Maybe not a shrine and a treasury, but one or the other. Skelly Camp and a Seafort would be nice too.

Maybe ol' Flamefart is still scary about the Roar since he was entombed there lol.

  • 100% agreed. Devil's Roar has been far too neglected for far too long.

Devil's Roar feels separate, it doesn't feel like it's part of the main map.

It needs some serious attention and given some massive reasons as to why you'd want to make the trip out there, cause currently it just isn't worth it for most.

  • @lem0n-curry ahh, so the spawn chance is probably as rare as the shrouded ghost lol
