First I just want to say Im sorry for not celebrating the Straw Hat when it came out. It was a truly momentous occasion. For those that were lucky enough to get one. Cheers 🍻! Im playing some Binks Sake in your honor.
Look, I totally get missing out on time limited stuff, and they shouldn't bring most cosmetics back. But this one truly isn't fair! One Piece is the reason why I got into Sea of Thieves. Those who know, know. The Pirates Life needs a straw hat. It's honestly cruel to remove this hat from the game.
If it needs a new ribbon color so that the people that got the original one dont get annoyed then im fine with that. But for the love of Ramsey PLEASE!! You have a lot of One Piece fans that Sail in SOT, you dont know how bad this sucks. Every time I log in I think about it😅 Ive been wearing the sovereigns hat since the beta because it's the only one that comes close to resembling the Straw Hat from OP. But with the addition of the actual sovereign faction, I feel completely out of character.
The truth is that the hat wasn't really the "straw hat" like we wanted and was more of a sun hat. And I was too stubborn and spoiled to realize how amazing it was that It even got added at all. I had no idea it was a time limited thing. Im sorry Rare, I truly am. I should've appreciated that you gave us a straw hat at all. Well now I do. I love you guys for it honestly.
Even if you don't bring it back, thank you for adding it at all. Your will and love that you all have put into this game is going to carry onto the next generation of gamers. SOT is more than just a game, it's a dream of what experiences can be when a community comes together.
