Cosmetics from the pirate emporium

I'm a new to sea of thieves I got it with ps release and was not as familiar with the cosmetics recently I purchased the sting tide 2 costume and I absolutely love the way it looks but I was not aware when I bought it that it would hide My curses that I grinded for
I was wondering if it would be possible to tweak the costume for us to where is still shows curses because now I have to choose between something I worked for in game or something I paid for
