You can invite friends from all platforms to join your crew. The following guide will show you how to do so.
Please note: To invite friends from other platforms, please ensure they are added as friends on Xbox Live.
Pre-game Lobby
Before you set sail, press the Invite friends button to display the in-game friends list.
In-game
To invite friends on PlayStation®5 as well as other platforms to your active game session:
Enter the Game Options menu
Select ‘My Crew’
And open the in-game invite friends list@musicmee thanks for your answer! That means, that every Playstation Player needs an Xbox Account linked to their Playstation Account, to get invites from friends playing on Xbox?

They do... but everyone no matter what platform they play on has a Gamertga linked :) So if your friend is playing on Playstion it will have got them to create or link to an existing Gamertag.
@musicmee When picking option for prefer controllers do that mean both xbox and playstation players? or only xbox (Im on xbox)
@burnbacon it's console only (controller) or mixed with pc. I hadn't realised straight away as I had been going to mixed servers but even on controller only you come across ps5 players.
The recent player function is now pretty much defunct. I use report a player in game to see recent list
@hiradc Thx for replaying! Guess HG pool is just to low then. I tried to play HG on controller server and waited around 20 min without getting a match. Gave up waiting and played against PC players. Hope they do somthing for HG soon. Skål!
