Did the new Easycheat change how people are selected into servers? For over a year now more than a ships worth of friends and I all jump on discord, load into the set sail screen and countdown and use the taper mark flag to hopefully get a couple ships on a server. We are not a toxic crew, we just all want to play together. But the last few fridays we have been unsuccessful, I’m just asking if this is forever gone for us, and if so, is there a way for me to access custom servers or something for us going forward? We love the game with great passion and appreciate everything you guys put into it. Any information is appreciated! Thank you!
Multiple ships on same server
Might just be how they are doing servers now with dives.
I'd be surprised if they did anything serious to really break up those types of scenarios but I could definitely see season 11 changing things around a lot for hopping situations.
People are joining/leaving in mass amounts through design now. That's gonna have some impact.
I will say that I still see a lot of the regs on my stamps and I see streamers see the regs on their stamps, so I doubt it's anything targeted. Probably just how they handle this diving situation now and bad luck for your group.
I dunno what their current thing with guilds is, dunno if guilds are getting on the same servers together or not.
@theogdogface access to private servers? You’ll need to be a partner or affiliate alliance for that unfortunately.
Try hopping at earlier times in the day for your region (less servers will be needed then) - hopefully that works.
@wolfmanbush There are 6 of us that sail every Friday night. sometimes we get it first try, sometimes we hope for well over an hour. you can still do it.

I think that the best way to accomplish this is by convincing someone in-game to add you to their ship. There is obviously no guarantee of this working for a variety of reasons, but it can be done. Also recognize that Rare obviously doesn’t want organized groups forming multiple ship crews on one server for balance reasons, so, my guess is that this is frowned upon to begin with, but still possible.
I've been noticing I see my friends/acquaintance/rivals much more commonly after diving.
I figured it was less and less people are playing up until Season 12.I'm shocked you aren't able to queue into the same server with a countdown, maybe you should all try diving a few times in case there is some sort of primary filter to fill servers when searching for seas.
You could all be on different 4/5 ship servers and one dive could put you in one that's more empty.
Maybe try staggering with one ship queuing into a Skull Fort Raid Voyage to increase the odds of getting in an empty server and then everyone else queue into a Pirates Treasure Map Voyage to look for an Active Skull Fort?
