Im Not talking about the skins and stuff but actual pirates.
Sometimes you feel Like you need a change but since you are super Happy with your pirate you dont wanna loose it 'for fun'.
My Suggestion is to add 2-3 'safe slots' for pirates, so people could swap from a skinny pirate to a 'big' pirate for a while, Not loosing their 'main appearance'. That way players will be pleased and rare will probably earn a Lot of Money for the potions. Win - Win. Other Games (mostly MMORPG's) earn a Lot with this. Why Not giving it a Shot?

If you want to create a new pirate but not have to spend money, you can just create a new Gamertag/Microsoft Account.

Sometimes i Just Wish i could swap IT for a few days wirhout starting from Zero. If its Not possible because of the Account Binding or the 'the pirate IS you' Philosophie behind it im super fine with it.

@xnito23 Yeah if you aren't wanting cosmetics/progress to carry over, your best bet is a new Gamertag and therefore fresh Pirate.
That way you are free to log out of your 'Main' pirate and into your fresh, new one.
Although, to be fair, with the recent extensions to Faction Level caps, I need to stay on my real Pirate! 😂
@metal-ravage 💯It has always been a thing since launch that you aren't 'playing' a pirate. You aren't Blackbeard or Anne Bonny but you are [insert Gamertag] the Pirate! Playing your own Pirate story rather than following along with an already-established Pirate story.

Still think there a Lot of people probably taking Advantage of it. Me for example liking my pirate as He is but If i could be another one for a week or two, still working in some commendations or PvP stuff, id do it. Im Not that much into this 'xNito the pirate guy' xD but yeah i get it that some people are and that would kill the phantasie linked to it.
Thinking about MMORPGs with all the different races and stuff, some people buy These potions twice a week x) thats why i was thinking it might be a good Idea for rare aswell to earn a bit more money aswell.

@burnbacon tbf it is a magic potion, so changing gender and body size falls nicely within it. Not entirely unbelievable considering.

I believe you bud! After the first trial she found out that it was better that I play SOT and she watches "The Crown"
I very much get where OP is coming from.
Not to argue with Tri of course, but I don't "identify" with my pirate so much. He's not me, and I'm not him. I like his looks, his style and his shape/size; I've gone through two Pirate Appearance Potions over my years playing to get him ~just~ right where I think the cosmetics I have look really good on him. I have no desire AT ALL to re-roll a fourth time and lose him.
Having said that, I've also got years and years of dresses, makeups, female hair styles, etc. that I've unlocked that are wasting space in my inventory because they obviously don't fit the aesthetic that my primary pirate has.
Hell, the PL reward for hitting 100 in this season's renown track is Belle's dress. Doesn't look good on ol' Fitz (my pirate).
It would be nice to have a secondary (or even tertiary, if you felt like playing a big meatball of a pirate from time to time) slot that I can drop in and out that can draw from the same large pool of cosmetics I've spent years unlocking.
Kinda like the idea that you're selecting which member of your own personal crew to play as on any given day. All have access to the same cosmetics, voyages, Captained ships, etc.
...you're just dropping in a different toon.
Not an issue that can be fixed with either buying another PA Potion (I lose the one I've got now that I like) or playing under a different account (don't have access to the pool of cosmetics I've already earned).
