Unable to invite players during play session

    Hi

    I seem to be having trouble inviting players mid play session. This has happened to multiple different players. I am able to invite players at title/set sail screen, but mid session the "invite to game" is greyed out on the xbox game bar overlay.

    This happened again last session I was playing with a player. He had to quit. Immediately after him leaving I was able to invite a player (the "invite to game" was available), but when I went to invite someone maybe 30 minutes later it was unavailable as well.

    While the "invite to game" is unavailable people cannot join my game session either. This has prevented a friend from joining me mid game session and I had to sell and restart a new session. I can join other peoples games no problem.

    I have played for many years and have not faced this issue before. I play on Computer through Xbox (microsoft store).

    Any thoughts how to fix??

    Not a solution, but perhaps workarounds:

    a) Invite via gamebar win+G (right click your friend - game - invite)
    b) If you play on guild ship, your friends can join via guild/ships menu when they start their game - no need to invite them

    1st up, make sure you are aware that the 'crash leniency timer' exists.

    When a player disconnects from your boat in a non-graceful manner, (crashing, force closing, alt-f4) they have a 5-10m timer where their slot is reserved for them.

    During this period, they will appear on the loading screen either greyed out or red (if I recall correctly) and will still show up in the My Crew list in the menu as normal.

    If you are CERTAIN you are not running into this timer, then you are likely encountering a newly reported bug in the GDK build.

    The status of if a crew is joinable has been getting out of sync, I believe it's diving related, but I've been having troubles tracking it down. I've found no fix for it, and have had to restart lobbies frustratingly a few times.

    @reverent-talon alt+f4 works, then you can invite others but yes this is another new bug to the collection
