Since season 11 update when I go to purchase extra supplies from the shipwright for my captained ship, at least half of the supplies never appear on the ship. Typically the first (not always) item you buy such as fruit will appear in the barrels, but the other supplies that you pay for never get added. Sometimes 0 supplies get added. Also when buying crates from the merchant you have to buy 1 crate to open a barrel on the island or ship, then return to pull the crate. You have to repeat this process until the wood/storage/food etc is acquired. If you rush and buy all 4 at once, you are unable to grab them from the Merchant. (I am not allowed to write support tickets so please dont suggest I put ticket in)

It's embarrassing that the trick to a feature introduced a year and a half ago is to just not use it at all 🤣
I sure do hope that they fix a lot of the big-time issues before the PS5 launch. Don't want to give them a truly eyebrow furrowing experience to kick things off.
I plan on introducing this game to my brother finally and I don't want to kick it off with a bunch of "gotcha" and workaround instructions.
@pithyrumble if I'm not doing hg or sailing instantly to contest something specific like fotd then I do generally just use pockets. It's silly game design though as it takes your money. I feel like the merchant one is where they added an inherent delay. I assume because of all the player exploits to duplicate or get extra supps but I often click collect, walk to ship then crate appears.
